My Experience

I have worked in higher education and learning design for over 10 years, acquiring a diverse skillset that includes curriculum development, training, and educational technology. I assist clients in creating engaging course content for adult learners, and collaborate with subject matter experts, including faculty and administrators, to develop educational programming for a range of learner and institutional needs. Using data collection and analysis, I am able to adapt instructional elements to the learning needs of the project and identify specific knowledge and skills gaps. I enjoy applying adult learning theory and pedagogical principles to learning designs, and use a variety of tools (see below) to deliver effective learning materials. As the world of educational technology is ever-changing, I am dedicated to staying current with emerging tech. I ensure instructional materials are accessible and usable so that all users have an excellent learning experience.

My Education​

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Family Community Services from Michigan State University (MSU), a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from Georgia Southern University, and Instructional Design Certificate from the Association of Talent Development (ATD). I am in the process of completing a second Masters in Learning Experience Design from Michigan State University.

My Downtime​

In my spare time, I enjoy golfing, hiking, and traveling overseas with my husband, Patrick. I have two rescue dogs, Bailey and Beaumont, that I absolutely adore. I am a certified yoga instructor and love teaching and learning even outside of work hours!
